What have we been doing?

The thing is with over 11 years of trading, we’ve such a lot to show you!  Starting out with sales development, through to gift sourcing for subscriptions and covermounts, launching magazines, creating websites, managing structural changes, interim team management, sourcing new business revenue streams and much more!

Making a difference!

We can turn our hand to most things, particularly with our extended team contacts.  But at this stage of our company development (selfish bit!) it is important for us to gain contracts that motivate us!   We’re talking ‘working on projects where we can really make a difference’, developing new ideas, shaking up unmotivated teams, sourcing new revenue streams, shaping up your social and print marketing messages and of course, launching your business idea!

Recent projects include

Brainstormed this lifestyle education idea – into a website, app and training course.  Fascinating subject area and ahead of its time in 2011.  Achieved free publicity into several magazines, launched a social marketing platform and sourced online business partners to promote the courses.

Interim Publisher
Responsible for three lifestyle magazines, with the ultimate aim of driving performance and profit. This included overall strategy planning and overseeing all department activity.

Work in progress – developing this clever marketing idea.  Nap-Ad has an impressive sized marketing vehicle of 500,000 – we’re signing up suitable partners now.  Talk to us…

Bought in to look at structure and performance of business.  Restructured the sales team taking on a terrific 3rd party sales force (ask us about them!) who completely turned our advertising revenue around, increasing it by some 400%.  Introduced team based strategy with group reporting, which motivated the team and developed better revenue streams from our features and events.

Restructuring media offerings, with a much clearer and workable website.  Our main project though was to introduce a new revenue stream to expand help expand their portfolio.  Bought in an industry expert to develop a great idea, the business plan highlights included little risk but great reward potential!

Business development in the early days of this now established cycling holiday destination, created a social and print marketing campaign, including competitions to obtain free space in national press and negotiating buying ad space.  Sourced parterships for contra marketing purposes.

Sourcing new business partners and features to run throughout the kids newspaper. These include major deals such as npower and the Days Out seasonal feature which collective bought in £40k pa.

Initiated 3rd party partnerships to drive exposure for this fast growing newsstand title. Resulting in marketing to over 35,000 core triathletes via events, clubs and gyms.

Created and managed the covermount gift campaign for the parenting titles.  Developing relationships, handling negotiations and sourcing gifts that uplifted copy sales, resulting in increased revenue streams.

Created a business plan for ‘The Autism File’ magazine to take to their investors – the plan highlighted areas that could be improved with funding. This gave the client a good understanding of what potential profit the title had over 3 years and some tips on how to gain some quick wins.
